There are three things I like to drink a lot of - water, beer, and coffee. In fact one of my favorite movies is Alex Cox's Straight to Hell. It stars Elvis Costello, Joe Strummer, Courtney Love, Sy Richardson and the Pogues (real life are alcoholics) who play coffeeholics in the movie. They kill most intruders in town and jitter their way through the movie looking for their next fix. I like to compare my caffeine addiction to theirs. I need a lot of coffee to get going in the morning and stay going all day.

Stillwater Summit Co. generously donated 2 Big Sky Bistro French press mugs and Broquest thus far would not have been possible without them. Our first priority in the mornings is usually getting coffee, and these mugs have been a lifesaver.

WHO HAS 1 THUMBS AND LIKES COFFEE

1 mug brews 16oz of coffee in about 5 minutes. Coupled with the amazing cooking abilities of the Primus stove, we can usually get our caffeine fix in under 10 minutes. They're well insulated and stay hot for up to an hour. They've also taken a fair beating on the road and have held up remarkably well, with only a few cosmetic scratches.

These mugs are excellent all around and should be a necessity for any caffeine crazed backpacker or bicycle tourer. Rating - 15/15 dead McMahon family members + dead Elvis Costello bonus.
